There was a nice article in the Concord Monitor about the new tax org. Chuck Douglas, I and others have formed: ["Nonpartisan taxpayers group forms"].
There are some not-so-nice comments but hey, that comes with the territory. The group's Web site is here: ["Concord Taxpapers Assoc."].

good job tony and chuck.
gotta love this quote:
"It's important to look at things more deeply than people do," said Tony Schinella, co-chairman. "It will be good to have someone outside of government or a union or a PAC or even a newspaper or radio station to look at things more critically and to ask deeper questions."
damn straight!
TONY,
WHO IN THIS GROUP IS "OUTSIDE OF GOVERNMENT OR A UNION OR A PAC EVEN A RADIO STATION"? SEEMS THAT AT LEAST 4 OUT OF 5 MEMBERS ARE PART OF THAT GROUP.
Hi Anon9:05,
First, thanks for reading.
Second, no one that I know of involved with the group is currently working for the government, union, PAC, or radio station. I work for a newspaper outside of the state. Sure, we all have previous experience in those jobs, but none of us are currently working in those jobs. I think that it will be good for the community to have other people outside of those bodies looking at Concord governmental issues.
Tony
